Before You Left chapter 1

"Soo Kyung! Wake up!" Young Soo shook his sister, trying to wake her up. Soo Kyung opened her eyes then glared at Young Soo, saying "I was already awake, i was just resting before i got up." "yeah right!" Soo Kyung got up, muttering things under her breath. Young Soo suddenly said "today's market day, da ze!" Soo Kyung looked at Young Soo for a moment before saying "oh, right" and giving Young Soo one of her rare smiles. "I'll buy you something. what do you want, first of all?" Young Soo gave his twin sister a hug, then said "no, I'll buy YOU something, da ze!" 

Soo Kyung was sleeping. well, more like Over Sleeping. She was known for doing those sorts of things. "Soo Kyung! Wake up!" Soo Kyung felt someone shaking her, so she opened her eyes only to see Young Soo shaking her. Soo Kyung glared at Young Soo and said "i was already awake, i was just resting before i got up." Young Soo replied with "yeah, right!" Soo Kyung then got up while muttering things about "kids and them not understanding that some people need more rest than others". "today's market day, da ze!" Young Soo's comment made her jump in surprise. then she realized that what Young Soo said was true. "oh, right." Soo Kyung gave Young Soo one of her rare smiles, while saying "I'll buy you something at the market. what do you want, first of all?" Young Soo's reply startled her. "no, I'll buy YOU something, da ze!"

"WAH~ there are so many things here~" Young Soo looked at all the goods at the market, while Soo Kyung had her eyes trained on what looked like a gold flower shaped hairpin with precious stones studded in. Young Soo looked at what Soo Kyung was looking at, then said "Soo Kyung, you want that hairpin, right?" Soo Kyung looked at him before saying "Yes." "I'll see if we have enough money to buy the hairpin" Young Soo took out some coins and began to count them out, while Soo Kyung went up to the stall owner and asked how much the hairpin cost. Soo Kyung came back to Young Soo and told him "the hairpin costs 10 coins. I managed to bargain with the owner to lower it to 10. it was originally 50." 

Soo Kyung looked around at the many stalls then something glittering caught her eye. Soo Kyung looked closely, and she saw that it was a hairpin. a gold,flower spahed hairpin with precious stones studded in. Soo Kyung gave out a small gasp, while Young Soo was looking at different stalls. Young Soo looked at what Soo Kyung was looking at, then said "Soo Kyung, you want the hairpin, right?" Soo Kyung's reply was "Yes." "I'll see if we have enough money to buy the hairpin." Soo Kyung barely heard her brother say those things, she went up to the stall owner and asked "excuse me, but how much does this hairpin cost?" the stall owner looked at her then said "it costs ten coins." Soo Kyung looked disappointed. She didnt have fifty coins, and neither did Young Soo. "please, mister could you lower the price a bit?" "hm....i usually dont lower prices, but if you insist, ill lower it to thirty." Soo Kyung looked slightly less disappointed, but then she said "Lower." "Twenty." "Lower." "Fifteen." "Lower." the stall owner threw his hands in the air and said "Goodness, you're pretty stubborn!" Soo Kyung then said "ill buy the hairpin for five coins." the stall owner stared at Soo Kyung then said "Ten. no less than ten." Soo Kyung smiled, satisfied. "yes, ten seems reasonable."
